Kolbano Bebas Stunting Program - PLN UIW NTT
Information about Kolbano Bebas Stunting Program in collaboration with PLN UIW NTT

From July 2024 to June 2025, the Community Care Network, in collaboration with PLN East Nusa Tenggara Region, implemented the Kolbano Stunting-Free Program (KBS). This program aims to reduce the prevalence of stunting by strengthening family resilience through improving knowledge of parenting practices, health and sanitation , increasing access to nutritious food, and enhancing the nutritional status of children under five. In addition, the program also supports efforts to improve the economic well-being of the community as part of sustainable stunting prevention.
The KBS Program is a collaborative initiative between PLN Peduli and the Community Care Network that emphasizes the importance of multi-stakeholder involvement. The program encourages active participation from families, particularly parents of infants and toddlers, village governments, community health volunteers (posyandu cadres), community leaders, religious leaders, education leaders, sub-district authorities, public health centers, and other relevant stakeholders. This synergy is expected to unify actions and strengthen program implementation through shared roles and responsibilities based on each stakeholder’s capacity. As an initial step in program implementation, PLN Peduli and the Community Care Network conducted program socialization activities at the village level by involving all relevant stakeholders. This activity aimed to build shared understanding, strengthen collective commitment, and develop action plans for the implementation of the KBS Program in Kolbano Village, Kolbano Sub-district, Timor Tengah Selatan Regency.
