Health Sector

• Implementing Community-Based Total Sanitation activities to ensure communities, with minimal external support, can improve and strengthen sanitation conditions through active participation of all relevant stakeholders.

• Providing assistance and capacity strengthening for Community Health Centers, particularly in the implementation of Integrated Management of Childhood Illness.

• Conducting reproductive health promotion for adolescents through awareness sessions and educational activities in collaboration with schools, health offices, and church institutions.

• Conducting surveys, assessments, and studies related to health issues.

• Promoting school-based health programs through handwashing with soap campaigns, waste management, and proper sanitation practices, including encouraging the use of hygienic latrines. Activities also include inter-school health promotion competitions to raise early awareness among students, as well as building and rehabilitating school sanitation facilities in collaboration with schools and school committees.

• Encouraging communities, especially women and mothers, to utilize home gardens to strengthen family nutrition through “living kitchen” initiatives that support household vegetable consumption.

Clean Water Sector

• In collaboration with communities and village governments, supporting the provision of adequate access to clean water for household needs through the construction of piping networks or other appropriate methods.

• Strengthening Village-Owned Enterprises in managing clean water supply systems independently by village governments and communities.

• Supporting reforestation efforts around water sources to help protect and sustain water catchment areas.

Food Security Sector

• Supporting and encouraging farmer groups to adopt simple, environmentally friendly agricultural technologies and to develop market-oriented horticulture.

• Strengthening farmer groups through mentoring and training in group management and agricultural technology..

Reforestation / Greening Sector

• Implementing restoration activities on degraded and deforested land to improve both environmental sustainability and economic productivity.

• Encouraging government regulations that support the protection of green open spaces and forest areas to preserve biodiversity and maximize the role of forests as carbon sinks.

Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Response Sector

• Supporting initial data collection, emergency response efforts, and post-disaster recovery processes.

• Strengthening community resilience to disaster risks through activities such as training Village Disaster Management Teams, conducting disaster simulations, and other preparedness initiatives.
